पूर्वाञ्चल सुन्दरीमा प्रतिभा
दोस्रो मिस पूर्वाञ्चल २०११ को उपाधि धरानकी १८ बर्षीया प्रतिभा श्रेष्ठले जितेकी छिन्। धरान स्थित स्थानीय सभागृहमा शनिबार राती सम्पन्न प्रतियोगिताको फाइनल चरणमा ५ प्रतियोगीहरु मध्ये आफुलाई अब्बल सावित गदै उनले दोस्रो मिस पूर्वाञ्चलको उपाधि जित्न सफल भएकी हुन्।
श्रेष्ठले मिस पूर्वाञ्चलको ताजसहित महिन्द्रा स्कुटी र विभिन्न उपहारहरु प्राप्त गरिन् भने सिम क्याट वकको उपाधिसमेत हत्याइन्। प्रतियोगिताका मुख्य निर्णायक हिडेन ट्रेजरका अध्यक्ष गोपाल कक्षपति फाइनल चरणका अन्तिम पाँच(टप ५) प्रतिस्पर्धीहरुलाई सोधेको निर्णायक प्रश्नको सटिक जवाफ दिदै उनले आफ्नो सपना साकार परेकी हुन्।

Alastair Cook's century in vain as Sri Lanka beat England
Sri Lanka dominated England for the second time in three days to win by six wickets at Lord's and establish a 2-1 lead in the one-day series.Captain Alastair Cook hit 119 but his side were otherwise disappointing with the bat in in a total of 246-7. We are aghast that the poor quality of runway overlay and helipad construction at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) has not just obstructed international flights but also put lives of thousands of passengers and crew members at risk. The news and pictures of crumbled roads immediately after their constructions are regularly splashed in the Nepalis newspapers.
